BJP hails AP cabinet ordinance on propagation

Tirupati, Apr 27 (UNI) The BJP in Andhra Pradesh today hailed the state cabinet's decision to prohibit propagation of other religions at notified places of worship, including the famed Venkateswara temple in Tirumala.

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha state president Bhanu Prakash Reddy, talking to UNI said it was a good decision taken by the cabinet after a long time and the provisions contained in the ordinance should be brought out.

To prevent propagation of other religions in the seven hills and surroudings places it should be declared as 'Tirumala divyakshatram,' he added.
