Tata Tea acquires Vitax and Flosana trademarks in Poland

Mumbai, Apr 26 (UNI) Tetley group, a subsidiary of Tata Tea limited, has acquired Vitax and Flosana trademarks in Poland, from premium foods.

The acquisition of the trademarks, being funded by Tetley group, springboards Tetley to the number two position in the Polish tea market with a 10.5 per cent value share and a turnover of USD 36 million, a release here today said.

The combined turnover of Vitax and Flosana brands is USD 23 million.

Vitax is one of the leading players in the Polish speciality tea segment. Premium foods currently distribute Tetley brand in Poland alongside Vitax and Flosana, the release added.
