NCP leader files case against Patankar Nursing home for negligence

Pune, Apr 26 (UNI) Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sunil Mane today filed a case against city-based Patankar Nursing Home for negligence and held it responsible for death of an infant of a patient undergoing pregnancy treatment.

Addressing a press conference, Mane said the pregnant lady Jayshree Undre, who was being treated in the hospital for nine months, was later shifted to Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital after some complications, but the infant could not survive.

Mr Mane has lodged a complaint in Pune district consumer court against the total negligence of the nursing home, which allegedly caused the death of the infant.

He has also demanded a compensation for the Undre family.
