Attempt to affect blasts in Delhi foiled with arrest of LeT ultras
New Delhi, Apr 26 (UNI) A major attempt by the Lashkar-e-Toiba to carry out blasts in Delhi was foiled today with the arrest of three terrorists of the outfit from South Delhi this evening.
A huge quantity of ammunition, including 2 Kg RDX, four detonators, two timers and two hand grenades was recovered from their possession, Delhi Police Spokesperson Rajan Bhagat said.
''The three LeT terrorists were arrested from near Dilli Haat in South Delhi this evening,''the spokesperson said.
Those arrested include one Pakistani National and two Kashmiris, he said.
Police said the trio was planning to attack several market places in Delhi.
