Mediators offer me lakhs of rupees for human trafficking: TRS MLA

Hyderabad, Apr 25 (UNI) In a startling revelation, Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) MLA Rama Linga Reddy today said mediators had offered him lakhs of rupees to assist in human trafficking in 2005 which he had refused.

Speaking to newspersons here, he said, ''one mediator Madhusudhana Rao had come to me several times in 2005, and sought my assistance in human trafficking and offered me lakhs of rupees. But I resisted myself to involve in trafficking with fake passports''.

Alleging that several state MLAs of different political parties were involved in human trafficking, Mr Reddy said the Congress government did not take any action aginst the mediators even after he complained to the authorities concerned. No MLAs and MPs of TRS were involved in the trafficking racket, he claimed.
