Court to hear complaint on Shetty-Gere kiss on May 5
Indore, Apr 25 (UNI) A local court will hear on May 5 the complaint charging film actors Shilpa Shetty and Richard Gere of objectionable behaviour in public during an AIDS awareness programme recently.
Judicial Magistrate Sarla Bakarwal has fixed May 5 as the date for presenting evidence and recording of statements in this case.
Advocate Indrajeet Singh Bhatia had filed a complaint on April 20 seeking action against Shilpa, Gere, organisers of the programme, Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasrin and others under sections 109, 292, 293 and 294 and section 7 of the Cinematography Act, 1952.
Nasrin has been named in the complaint for describing the act as unobjectionable.
