Anticipatory bail plea of Katara's family members rejected
New Delhi, Apr 25 (UNI) A city court today dismissed the anticipatory bail application of the wife, son and daughter of BJP MP Babubhai Katara, who are facing probe in the human trafficking case.
Prosecution submitted that the investigation was at its initial stage and efforts were being made to unearth the conspiracy and apprehend the actual culprit. Therefore, any protection given would affect the investigation, he added.
Additional Sessions Judge V K Bansal observed that the MP was working as a carrier agent and using the diplomatic passport of his wife. Since it was a case of human trafficking the Sessions Judge dismissed the bail of the family members of the the BJP MP.
