Small savings investors in Haryana to get cash awards

Chandigarh, Apr 22 (UNI) The Haryana Directorate of Small Savings will give more than 25,000 cash awards to the people who invest their money under Haryana Small Savings Puruskar Yojna in the current fiscal.

While disclosing this here today, a spokesman of the department said that one free coupon would be given on each investment of Rs 5,000, whereas in case of women investors, one free coupon would be given on each investment of Rs 2,500 as a special incentive.

The spokesman said the benefit under the scheme would be given only if the investment was made in Kisan Vikas Patra, Post Office Term Deposit Account, which should not be less than three year period, National Saving Certificate, Five Year Post Office Term Deposit Account, 15-year Public Provident Fund, Post Office Monthly Income Account and Senior Citizens Savings Scheme.
