Naxalites kill youth in Gadchiroli district

Nagpur, Apr 22 (UNI) Naxalites shot dead a youth, suspecting him to be a police informer, in Gadchiroli district in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra.

According to police, a group of about 35 armed Naxalites barged into the house of Nurra Masa Pallo (20) in Laheri village in the district late last night.

The ultras took Pallo into aforest outside the village and shot him dead, the police said.

Pallo was not a police informer, but the Naxalites carried out the killing with the intention of spreading terror, police added.
