Pratapgarh/Sultanpur, Apr 22 (UNI) Expressing concern over the ''dismal'' law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh, BSP chief Mayawati today flayed the BJP, the Congress and the RLD for ''blessing, supporting and assisting'' Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav in ruining the state.

''I hold the BJP, the Congress and the RLD equally responsible for the destruction of UP. People will not forgive them and the same will be reflected in the assembly poll results,'' Ms Mayawati told poll meetings in Pratapgarh and Sultanpur districts.

''All these parties are anti-people. Luckily, people have recognised their true faces. Therefore, the BSP will get an absolute majority in the ongoing state elections,'' she claimed.

She also accused the Congress-led UPA regime at the Centre of ''cheating'' the masses. ''The government has nothing to do with the pain and suffering of the common man and is hardly doing anything to control inflation.'' Criticising the SP government, she alleged that both Mr Yadav and his close aide Amar Singh had siphoned off large funds from the state exchequer and were planning to flee the country. ''But, I will not let that happen.'' ''After coming to power, I will expose all the wrongdoings of Mr Yadav. Just wait and watch,'' the BSP chief asserted.

The former chief minister asked voters to be careful as Mr Yadav was ''trying to confuse them by showing wrong exit poll results''.

''Sadly, even a section of media is hand-in-glove with him,'' she added.
