Ash and Abhishek offer worship at Lord Balaji

Tirumala, Apr 22 (UNI) Newly-wed Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, along with junior Bachchan's parents, their family friend industralist Anil Ambani and his family, offered prayers in the famous Hill temple of Lord Venkateswara today.

The newly-wed couple along with Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Mr Ambani and his family, friends and well-wishers arrived at the Renigunta Airport from Mumbai by chartered Kingfisher flight at 0715 hours and drove up to Tirumala in specially-arranged ten cars.

They were received at the temple by TTD officials and had 'darshan' of the Lord Balaji through Vaikunta Queue complex-I.

After performing special 'poojas', the pair stood for about more than 20 minutes in front of the main deity and paid obeisance.

They also stayed for some time at the sanctum sanctorum and spent nearly 45 minutes inside the temple.

The stars' trip to the temple caused great hardship to ordinary pilgrims as they had to wait for hours to have a 'darshan'.
