AP Govt takes steps to conduct inspections on petrol bunks
Hyderabad, Apr 22 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Legal Metrology Controller Tejdeep Kaur today instructed the concerned officials to conduct inspections on retail outlets of petrol and diesel to ascertain the quantity and quality of the petro products.
According to an official release here, she said a team of 17 Assistant Controllers and 40 District Inspectors were instructed to conduct inspections in petrol bunks of various oil companies.
Ms Kaur inspected the outlets in Hyderbad and Secunderabad.
She also collected samples of petrol and diesel from the underground tanks and sent it to Forensic Laboratory, the release added.
