All party leaders to meet on human trafficking on Apr 25

New Delhi, Apr 22 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee has convened a meeting of all party leaders here on April 25 to decide on the action to be taken on the alleged links of some MPs to human trafficking, announced the Parliamentary Afairs Minister P R Dasmunsi here today.

He said the entire Parliament couldnot be blamed for the acts of a few " black sheep".

Mr Dasmunshi said the police were already investigating into the suspended BJP MP Babubhai Katara's alleged involvement in human trafficking following his arrest on Wednesday.

He expressed full confidence that when the Speaker would convened a meeting on Wednesday, "...we shall certainly decide certain course of action in this regard." Katara was arrested on Wednesday at the international airport here while allegedly trying to take a woman and a boy to Canada using the passports of his wife and son.

Responding to a question on Mr Katara's arrest, Mr Dasmunsi said "It's very unfortunate".
