Sultanpur, Apr 21 (UNI) Denouncing the Congress-led UPA regime at the Centre, former external affairs minister and disgruntled party leader Natwar Singh today said, ''the former is reaping what it had sown.'' ''There is a lot for Congress to face. God is great. Sooner or later, it is the justice that wins,'' Mr Singh said addressing an election meeting here.

''Congress has lost its sheen. Due to its anti-people policies, the party was badly defeated in Uttarakhand and the recently concluded MCD poll, New Delhi. Except Andhra Pradesh, it does not have an absolute majority anywhere in India. But Sadly, in AP too, farmers are committing suicide,'' he underlined.

''Congress is a party which cannot be trusted. It is of no one. It always ditches people,'' the disgruntled party leader charged.

He further exorted voters to vote for SP if they aspire to see UP as 'Uttam Pradesh.' The gathering was later joined by CM Mulayam Singh Yadav's son and SP MP Akhilesh Yadav, who said ''after party resumes power in UP, I would like to ask BSP supremo Mayawati which country my father should tour with funds of the state exchequer.

The young MP further asked Mayawati not to build castles in the air as the CM's seat is far from her.

The former UP CM has been alleging that both Mr Yadav and his close aide Amar Singh have siphoned off large funds from the state exchequer and were planning to flee the country.
