24-year-old woman gangaped by UP truckmen in Karnataka

Bidar, Apr 21 (UNI) Three people hailing from Uttar Pradesh were arrested by Humnabad police today on the charges of alleged gang rape of a 24-year-old woman.

Police said the woman, who had gone to Zahirabad in the neighbouring Andhra Pradesh in search of a job, was given a lift in a truck after seeking a drop back home. The trio, who included two drivers and the clearner of the truck, allegedly pulled her out in a lonenly place and gang raped her.

After being alerted, police nabbed all the three. They were identified as Santosh Yadav, Raju Bahaddur and Krishnachand Yadav.

The woman was sent for medical examination.
