With Salman and SRK's wacky humour KBC season III ends

New Delhi, Apr 20 (UNI) It was a fitting finale to the latest season of this game show which has, for the past few months, earned a huge fan following among the kids and the next generation of TV viewers with a liberal dose of humorous "one liners" and youthful irreverence brought to it by the inimitable Shahrukh Khan as its new host! The final episode of the third season of the popular game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' last night saw 'King Khan', along with Bollywood heartthrob Salman Khan, ''bring the House down'' with their "endearingly humorous" acts and their witty one liners.

True to the 'Youthful fervour' and 'humorous vein' that marked Shahrukh's first innings on the KBC, the finale of the show had entertaining moments galore with Salman sending the audiences rolling in splits of laughter with his wit and wacky humour that reminded one of his comic acts in many of his films like 'JaaneMann', 'Mujhse Shaadi Karogi' and 'No Entry'.

Joining the witty, naughty and humorous duo in lending a 'fun filled aura' to the finale were a galaxy of Bollywood stars including the 'ethereal' Katrina Kaif, the glamorous Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.

While the first segment of the special celebrity episode of the KBC, which marked an end to the third season of the game show comprising of 52 episodes, saw Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka appear together on the hot seat, the second segment saw the hottest Bollywood pair of Salman and Katrina on the hot seat with Shahrukh.

Kareena and Priyanks's appearance on the KBC along with the hottest Bollywood pair of Salman and Katrina was the first time ever that these Bollywood heartthrobs came together on a game show.

It was also Shahrukh Khan's first tryst with Kareena and Priyanka after Farhan Akhtar's 'Don'.

The episode also had Priyanka exercising her vocal chords and belting out melodies that showed to audiences a side of her that nobody had seen before.

Talking about her experience on the show, Priyanka Chopra says, "KBC was a fantastic experience and I enjoyed myself to the hilt. Sitting across Shahrukh can be quite nerve wrecking, but he completely puts me at ease.

In fact he was completely driven up the wall because Kareena and myself would keep debating which answer to opt for and always came up with different options.'' The segment featuring Kareena and Priyanka had many entertaining moments including the one where Kareena, called upon by SRK to announce a break, did so with a rendition of 'Yeh Mera Dil' from 'Don'. The end of the segment saw Shahrukh, Kareena and Priyanka break into a jig to the tunes of 'Yeh Mera Dil'.

The entertainment levels reached a crescendo during the segment featuring Salman and Katrina. For example, the segment saw Salman mimic the dialogue delivery of Mr Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan while announcing a break much to the entertainment of the audience.

Also hilarious was Salman making a beeline for giving a 'hug' to Shahrukh every time he did not know the answer to the questions only to be restrained by Shahrukh himself.
