Guwahati, Apr 20 (UNI) The banned ULFA has asked all political parties in Asom to join hands to pressurise Centre to provide information of the whereabouts of their 'missing' leaders, whose wives are on indefinite fast since March 21 last.

In the editorial, in the latest issue of its mouthpiece -- ''Freedom'', the insurgent group cautioned that in case something went wrong with the fasting women, the political parties in the state would face the ''consequences''.

The militant group also called upon International Human Rights Commission to make the Centre try to find a solution to the ULFA issue.

Earlier, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi appealed the fasting women to withdraw their agitation saying that he had submitted before the court whatever information was supplied by Bhutan authorities about handirgover of arrested militant leaders after the operation 'All Clear'.
