'Sports Olympiad'for Corporates to beat stress, work pressure

Chennai, Apr 20 (UNI) Turning to sports as the cure for stress an pressure due to work environment in the Corporate world, event management company 'F5 Ventures', will organise a unique Sports Olympiad 2007 here over a period of two months from July.

The company said 'The Chennai Corporate Sports Olympiad', will aim to encourage companies to support their employees to pursue a more active, healthier lifestyle. About 32 Corporate teams including software, ITES, Automobiles, Insurance, Communication, Banking, Media and Manufacturing, would be participating in the novel event.

The Olympiad would have competitions in badminton, basektball, cricket, chess, football, golf, karting, swimming, snooker, tennis, table tennis and volleyball. The venues for these competitions would be regular sports stadiums, clubs indoor and outdoor tracks and exclusive gaming locations. Gold, silver and bronze medals would be presented.
