Shyam Tagde takes over as Nagpur Improvement Trust Chairman
Nagpur, Apr 20 (UNI) Senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Shyam Tagde took over as Chairman of Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) here today.
An officer of the 1991 batch of the IAS, Mr Tagde was Additional Commissioner in the Department of Tribal Development here before his present assignment, according to an official release issued here.
Mr Tagde, a graduate in engineering, has earlier worked as assistant district collector in Bhandara and Chandrapur, and District Collector in Gadchiroli in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, Director in the Food and Civil Supplies Department in Mumbai, Chief Executive Officer in Nasik and Director of Textiles in Nagpur, besides Managing Director of Maharashtra State Mining Corporation (MSMC).
He was received by NIT Superintending Engineer S H Gujjelwar when he took charge at the NIT office this morning, the release added.
