RBI to auction 364-day treasury bills on April 25

Mumbai, Apr 20 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today announced it would auction 364-day government of India (GoI) treasury bills for a notified amount of Rs 2,000 crore on April 25, using 'multiple price auction' method.

The allocation to the non-competitive bidders will be outside the notified amount, at the discretion of the bank, an RBI statement here said.

The sale will be subject to the terms and conditions specified in the general notification issued by the government of India. Tenders should be submitted in the prescribed form on April 25 and the results will be announced on the same day, the statement added.
