AICCTU demands withdrawal of lock-out of Hind Motor
Kolkata, Apr 20 (UNI) The CPI (ML) liberation's trade wing, AICCTU, today demanded withdrawal of 'unlawful' lock-out of the Hind Motor's factory in Uttarpara and Ganges Jute Mill in Bansberia.
The AICCTU also demanded that chargesheet and suspension order against the workers of both the mills be withdrawn and they be paid their due wages.
Taking out a protest rally here against the joint attack of police and CPI (M) on the Hind Motor's striking workers along with High Court's verdict to ban hawkers in railways, All India Central Council of Trade Union (AICCTU) state secretary Basudeb Basu said the court's verdict was 'anti-people'.
More than 50 AICCTU activists were arrested.
