Weather remains hot and humid in the city

Kolkata, Apr 19 (UNI) The weather in the city remained generally hot and humid throughout the day.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum increased to 26.2 degrees Celsius, Met officials said here.

Maximum humidity today reduced to about 89 per cent.

No rainfall was recorded, Met official added.

Met officials said there will be no change in the weather and it is expected to remain hot, sources said.
