Singapore Airlines' special fares to Australia

Hyderabad, Apr 19 (UNI) Singapore Airlines today announced its special fares from Hyderabad to five destinations in Australia.

A return economy ticket per person to various destinations in Australia will now be available at discounted fares of Rs 26,500 and Rs 27,000, a company statement here said.

The fare entails a discount up to 16 per cent on the current return economy fares for minimum of two people travelling together.

An additional Rs 10,000 would be levied per ticket towards taxes and surcharges.

The Australian destinations, covered under 'Amazing Australia Deals' were Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth.

The special fare, available between April 19 and May 4, 2007 is valid for outbound travel from April 19 to June 15 2007.

The airlines also plans to introduce, after clearance from regulatory bodies, two flights a day from Chennai to Singapore.

Its subsidiary, Silk Air, which currently flies to Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram plans to add another service from Coimbatore to Singapore during the year.
