K'taka HC to close for summer vacation from Apr 23 to May 27

Bangalore, Apr 19 (UNI) The Karnataka High Court will remain closed for summer vacation from April 23 to May 27 (both days inclusive).

No appeals, petitions or applications of civil nature would be received during the vacation, except in cases where it was sought to obtain urgent interim orders like temporary injunction, attachment or stay of proceedings. However, criminal appeals, criminal revision petitions, criminal petitions and urgent applications in criminal matters would be received during the summer vacation.

During vacation, the office of the High Court would remain open till 1400 hrs and Saturdays would not be working days. On vacation sitting days, the office working hours would be from 1015 hrs to 1700 hrs. Vacation benches would sit on Tuesdays and Thursdays to hear urgent matters.
