BSP demands action against publishers of 'fictitious' booklet

Lucknow, Apr 19 (UNI) The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) today asked the Chief Election Commission (CEC) to take stringent action against the publishers of a ''fictitious booklet,'' which is in circulation in Delhi.

The booklet ''Karyakartaon Ke Liye Bahenji Ka Sandesh'' is in circulation in the national capital. The BSP has neither printed any such booklet nor can it ever think of getting such filthy material printed, party general secretary and MP Satish Chandra Mishra said here.

In a letter to the CEC, Mr Mishra alleged it to be the ''handiwork'' of the opposition, who has even misued name of the printing press.

Mr Mishra said his party has lodged an FIR against the fake booklet at Hussainganj Police Station.

He further requested the CEC to personally take note of the matter and take necessary action against the accused to save the ongoing Uttar Pradesh assembly poll from further vitiations of this nature.
