4 girls killed and six labourers seriously injured in road mishap

Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 18 (UNI) Four girls were killed on the spot and six labourers severely injured when the lorry in which they were travelling overturned at Haripuram village in Itchapuram mandal here today.

According to police, 43 labourers of Ponchami village of Ganjam District in Orissa were on their way to work at a brick kiln at Haripuram when the driver lost control over the vehicle, leading to the accident.

The District Revenue officer C S Ramalakshmi have ordered an inquiry into the incident.
