Woman tourist killed, other driver hurt in car accident

Nahan, Apr 17 (UNI) A 35-year-old woman tourist from Uttarakhand was killed while another woman and the driver were injured when their car rolled down a deep gorge last night near Katasan Devi Mandir in Sirmour district,police today said.

Renu, a resident of Vikas Nagar in Uttrakhand died on the way to hospital at Poanta Sahib while the injured driver Kuldeep and another woman passenger Rina Devi from same place, were admitted in the hospital.

The accident apparently took place when car driver lost his control over the vehicle about 25 km from here, police said, adding that a case had been registered and investigation was on.
