Fortis HealthWorld tiesup with DCM arm

New Delhi, Apr 16: Ranaxy Group promoted healthcare retail chain Fortis HealthWorld today said it will tie-up with Hariyali Kisaan Bazaar, a unit of DCM Shriram Consolidated Ltd, to penetrate into rural markets.

Focusing the farming community, the company will set up health stores with Hariyali Kisaan Bazaar.

The company will leverage the already operational 70 outlets of Hariyali Kisaan Bazaars across the country. The reach will be further strengthened with 200 outlets that DCM Hariyali plans to set up in the next 15 months.

Fortis HealthWorld Chief Executive Officer Ashish Kirpal Pandit said, ''The alliance with DSCL Hariyali Kisaan Bazaar is an integral part of our commitment of providing world class pharmacy and allied services to rural India.'' The stores will offer telemedicine, routine pathology tests, collection centre, prescription, OTC, alternate medicines and veternary medicines services to customers, he added.
