Hyderabad, Apr 16 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today appealed the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) not to politicise the Babli issue as the state government was taking earnest steps to stop the construction of barrage by the Maharashtra Governmment.
As the hearing on the Babli project would come up in the Supreme court on April 25, APCC official spokesperson N Tulasi Reddy, addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here, asked the TDP leaders to defer their proposed 'Mahadharna' on April 24 on the same.
