VCCI golden jubilee celebrations on April 17

Vijayawada, Apr 15: The Golden Jubilee celebrations of Vijayawada Chamber of Commerce and Industry(VCCI) would be held here on April 17.

Talking to newspersons here, Chamber's President Gaddam Subba Rao said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy would participate in the function as a Chief Guest.

The VCCI was established on November 29,1955 and was inaugurated by the then State Chief Minister Dr Bezwada Gopala Reddy.

Mr Rao said the Chamber was safeguarding the interests of the traders, since its inception.

Fifty prominent traders would be felicitated on this occasion, he added.
