Six foetuses taken out of canal in Haryana
Jind, Apr 15 (UNI) Six foetuses were taken out of the West Yamuna canal flowing close to the meat market here today.
According to official sources here, the foetuses were noticed by a group of children who had gone to take a bath in the canal. The frightened children reported the matter to their parents, who, in turn, informed the local police.
On the instructions of the police, the foetuses, both of male and female, were taken out of the canal and handed over the civil hospital for post-mortems. One of the foetus was headless, while the others were intact, indicating that these had been throw in the canal one or two day ago.
The police are investigating the matter and would register a case after the postmortem report.
