Police apprehends one with fake Indian currency
Agartala, Apr 15 (UNI) One person has been arrested for possessing fake Indian currency worth Rs 50,000 from Kailshahar sub-division in Tripura's North District.
Following a tip-off, a police team led by SDPO of Kailashahar yesterday arrested one Abdul Rahaman from Tilla Bazar area and recovered fake currency worth Rs 50,000 from him, police sources said here today.
A case has been registered against the arrested and interrogation was on to find out whether he has any link with miscreant rings involved in distribution of fake currency in the state, sources added.
