People observe complete Bandh on consecutive second day

Jammu, Apr 15 (UNI) Normal life was paralysed in Banihal town in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir as a complete shutdown was observed to protest the arrest of four people including wife of one of the youth on the charges of attempting to kill Chief Minister during a Rally on Thursday.

Eyewitnesses said all business establishments of the town remained closed for the second consecutive day today and people shouted anti-government and anti-Congress slogans.

State police had arrested Farooq Ahmad Wani his wife Haseena resident of Duligam, Banihal, Abdul Rashid of Nowkoot Banihal and Mohammad Akhter of Shagen Banihal on Thursday on the charges of attempting to assassinate the Chief Minister.
