One dies while making bomb went off in Bengal

Barrackpore, Apr 15 (UNI) One miscreant was killed and another injured seriously when a bomb, they were making, went off at Lal Khuti area under Lake Town police station in North 24-Parganas this afternoon, police said.

The injured was admitted to RG Kar Medical Collage and hospital.

The accident occurred when the miscreants, identifed as- Pintu Rajbhanshi (22) and Raju Rajbhanshi (23)-- were making bombs in a room of their house, but one of them went off accidentally injuring the two seriously. They were taken to the government owned hospital where Pintu was declared brought dead.

The condition of Raju was stated to be critical, hospital sources said.

The explosion was so powerful that the ceiling of the room collapsed, police added.

There had been no arrest in this connection so far.
