No personal queries on IAS: MP CM to Centre
Bhopal, Apr 15: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has urged the Centre to do away with provisions concerning ''personal'' questions, regarding lady officers of the Public Services, in the appraisal report of such officers for 2007-08.
In a letter to Union Minister for Personnel and Administrative Reforms Suresh Pachauri, the Chief Minister wrote that the questions ''hurt the sentiments of the officers and the dignity and respect of women.'' The questions concerned the health of lady officers of the Administrative, Police and Foreign services, an official release said today.
