Infinite possibilities for development of Indore: Chouhan
Indore, Apr 15 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said the state government had pledged to exploit all possibilities of development in Indore.
Mr Chouhan, while addressing high-level meeting regarding development of Indore yesterday, said development in Indore was noteworthy but not adequate.
The meeting discussed important schemes related to development of Indore and fixed time period for completing these schemes.
The state government would approve, within a fortnight, the Collectorate's new administrative complex, in consultation with the finance department.
The Industrial Development Corporation will start developing the area for IT park after a decision was taken regarding it. The Indore Collector would be the Director of the Corporation.
A proposal would be brought in the cabinet meeting regarding using government land for constructing buildings for poor.
The meeting decided that the Municipal Corporation would provide necessary technical staff to the public health and engineering department for completing the third phase of the Narmada project.
Forest Minister and district incharge Minister Himmat Kothari, PWD Minister Kailash Vijaywargiya, Planning Commission Vice-Chairman Sompal Shastri and Tribal Welfare Minister Prakash Sonkar were among others present.
