India, Belarus to sign extradition treaty
New Delhi, Apr 15 (UNI) India and Belarus will sign an Extradition Treaty during the three-day State visit of Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko from today.
The signing of the Treaty was approved by the Union Cabinet at a meeting here last week presided over by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
During the visit, the Belarus President will meet President A P J Abdul Kalam, Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat and the Prime Minister.
The two sides will review bilateral relations and exchange views on issues of international and mutual interest, a spokesman of the External Affairs Ministry said.
Several bilateral agreements are expected to be concluded during the visit, the spokesman said.
