Humchadakatte receives 5 cm rain

Bangalore, Apr 15 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Karnataka.

Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Humchadakatte 5, Kiravatti 3, Yellapura, Tyagarthi, Talaguppa, Hunsur 2 each, Mudibidre, Kota, Haliyal, Nargund, Tavaregere, Kammardi one each.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were appreciably above normal at many places over Coastal Karnataka and normal over Interior Karnataka.

Raichur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.0 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until the Tuesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Belgaum, Dharwad, Gadag, Chikmagalur, Kodagu, Shimoga, Hassan, Mysore, Mandya, Chamarajnagara, Bangalore Urban, Bangalore Rural. Mainly dry weather may prevail over the remaining districts of the State.

Forecast for Bangalore: Partly cloudy. Thundery conditions possible towards evening/night. Maximum temperature would be around 33 degree celsius.
