Fire watch tower and close circuit TV in Keolodeo Park

Jaipur, April 15(UNI)The famous Keolodeo Ghana Bird Sanctury in Bharatpur will be equipped with closed circuit TV and fire watch towers to handle accidental fires in the national park.

Sunyan Sharma, Deputy Chief wild life warden, National Keolodeo Ghana Bird Sanctury, said the wild life department is planning to set up 10 fire watch towers at different locations in the park and installation of closed circuit TV (CCTV) to have a close watch on the activities in the park.

He said the two-storey watch towers will have facilites to store water fire-fighting equipment and staff to deal with any emergency arising from fires.

The double storey watch towers also keep an eye on mischief mongers.

He said a new fire line is also being constructed in the Park in view of summer ahead.
