CPM denies TRS president charge
Hyderabad, Apr 15 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh CPI-M secretary B V Raghavulu today refuted the charge of Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrasekhara Rao that the party was opportunistic and its alliance with the TDP was unholy.
At a press conference here, Mr Raghavelu said his party had forged alliance with the TDP to fight against the 'anti-people' policies of the Congress government and not to gain political mileage.
He alleged that Mr Rao had formed the TRS only for his political benefits and not for the development of the people of Telangana region.
The CPI(M) would relentlessly fight to resolve the problems of the people, he added.
