Center not sincere in resolving Kashmir dispute : JKDF

Jammu, Apr 15 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum (JKDF) today accused the union government of not being sincere in resolving the long standing Kashmir issue.

JKDF general secretary, Reshma Wazir, in her speech at a symposium in Jammu, lauded Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf for his efforts, positive approach and sincerity to ease tension and promote friendship with India.

Ms Reshma urged the union leadership to show sincerity and flexibility to resolve the Kashmir issue through peaceful means and take effective measures in this regard.

She emphasised demilitarisation would pave the way for a final resolution of the Kashmir issue and restoration of peace and stability in the region.

Mr Rashma took a strong exception to center's vague and ambigious policy on Kashmir and called upon union leadership to show flexibility and sincerity in peace talks.
