AP govt to provide Rs 300 cr subsidy on SC loan interest

Warangal, Apr 15 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh government will provide Rs 300 crore subsidy on the interest of the total loans taken by the beneficiaries from the State Scheduled Castes Corporation, Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy announced today.

Participating in 'Prajapatham' programme organised at Aswaraopalli village in this district, Dr Reddy said Corporation had distributed loans to the tune of Rs 1,300 crore to the Scheduled Castes during this year.

Dr Reddy also assured that the government would hike the salaries of the village servants.
