Amit Roy wins 'Yuva Shree 2007' org by MPYC

Mumbai, Apr 15: Amit Roy from Mumbai won the body building competition 'Yuva Shree 2007', while Jagdish Kadam got the award for the best pose, organised here by the Mumbai Pradesh Youth Congress (MPYC).

Speaking on the occasion yesterday, Maharashtra Revenue Minister Narayan Rane said, ''Indian youth power will play a major role in making the country a super power in the world.'' "The enorumous youth power in the country will make it more powerful and energetic,'' Mr Rane said.

He congratulated MPYC for organising the event and giving an opportunity to the youths to show their talent.

Mr Rane's son Nitesh is the general secretary of the MPYC and the organiser of the event.

Cinestar Salman Khan, who was also present on the occasion said, ''Such events will make youths more powerful and their hard work will pay in their life ahead.'' The junior Rane said, Yuva Shree 2007, which has been organised for the first time, will be an annual event adding that MPYC will also organise different health awareness programmes in the coming future for the youths so that they do not fall prey to drug addiction.
