4 killed, 12 injured in UP road accident

Bulandshahr, Apr 15 (UNI) At least four persons were killed and 12 others injured after a speeding Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) bus, in which they were travelling, collided head on with an oncoming bus here today.

The ill-fated bus which was on its way to Delhi, met with the accident on the Aligarh-Bulandshahr highway near Thandi Pyau village, killing two passengers on the spot.

The injured were rushed to a hospital in a critical condition, where two others succumbed to their injuries, police said.

The condition of all the passengers was stated to be serious and there was a possibility of them being shifted to another hospital.
