Bihar: Two drowned in a boat mishap

Patna, Apr 13: At least two people drowned when a country boat capsized in river Ganga near Naariyal ghat under Danapur police station area here today.

According to police, of the total eight passengers, two met their watery grave in the mishap while the rest swam to safety.

The boat might have capsized due to overloading of either goods or cattles, however the exact reason of the mishap was yet to be ascertained, police added.

Senior administrative officers have rushed to spot.
