Soz meets Lalu to discuss cherry fruit transportation

New Delhi, Apr 13 (UNI) Union Water Resources Minister Saifuddin Soz today met Railway Minister Lalu Prasad to discuss the need to provide faster transportation for cherry fruits from the Kashmir valley from Jammu and Amritsar.

During the meeting, Prof Soz urged Mr Prasad that the arrival and departure of existing train 2926 was most convenient for haulage of cherry and the fruits which found buyers the very next morning. The quota for traffic should be restored back to eight tonnes, he said.
