Seven killed, 8 injured in road accident

Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu, Apr 13 (UNI) Seven people were killed and eight others injured, three of them seriously, when a container lorry collided with another lorry at Thoppurkanavayil last night.

Five of the seven deceased were identified as driver Govindan (52), Kuppuswamy (50) Lakshmanan (45) Paramsivam (35) and Mannan (27), police said.

The injured were admitted to Dharmapuri Government Hospital.
