Seven injured in group clash

Mysore, Apr 13 (UNI) Seven people, including a woman, were injured in a clash between two communities at K Shettyhalli in Srirangapatna taluk of neighbouring Mandya district of Karnataka, today.

Police said the two groups were said to have clashed over taking bath in river Lokapavani. Besides, the communities were nursing animosity for long in the village.

The injured were admitted to K R Hospital here.

As a precautionary measure, additional police forces were deployed in the village and the situation is now under control.
