Seven convicted for kidnapping Patna businessman

Patna, Apr 13 (UNI) A local court here today convicted seven persons in a sensational case of kidnapping for ransom of a computer businessman in Patna in 2005.

The fast track court judge Om Prakash found all the seven accused in the case guilty under various sections of Indian Penal Code(IPC).

The hearing on the quantum of punishment would take place on Monday.

According to the charges Bunty alias Rahul Surana and his friend Asimul Huque were kidnapped by the convicts for ransom in 2005. The police rescued them after ten days in captivity.
