Malappuram, Apr 13 (UNI) Ruling out his resignation from the Kerala Cabinet in the wake of adverse court remarks, Kerala Local Self-Government Minister Paloli Muhammed Kutty today said ''every citizen has a right to point out the weaknesses of the judiciary.'' Reacting to the Kerala High Court order rejecting unconditional apology for his controversial remarks, he said '' I am not afraid of punishment by the judiciary'' in the case.

A seemingly determined Mr Kutty further said, ''we will face it legally.'' On the High Court posting the case to May 30 for further proceedings, he said a decision on the issue would be taken by Communist Party of India (Marxist) after the pronouncement of the final verdict.

Meanwhile, CPI(M) State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan said Mr Kutty need not resign in the wake of the court's remarks.
